On 55 pages with tables and photos, you will find my accumulated knowledge from my experience as a physiotherapist, pelvic floor physiotherapist, alternative practitioner for physiotherapy, yoga teacher and mother. I am the founder of femphysio - physical therapy for women. My passion is the pelvic floor and I accompany women on their journey around pregnancy, birth and recovery. Through my experience as a pelvic floor therapist, I have cared for many women in childbirth in the practice and also at home. This gave me the desire, above all, to pass on the physiotherapeutic knowledge about the time after the birth. I've heard it said "someone could have told me that beforehand" very often and there are often very simple tricks that can help you through the confinement period. Because knowledge is power!

If you have problems with the pelvic floor after birth, I can do the examination & I can only recommend therapy from Lisa. If you inquire about complaints about the pelvic floor after childbirth, you will often find topics such as incontinence and prolapse problems. What to do if that doesn't apply to you at all and you still feel that something is wrong? Lisa thoroughly examined my pelvis/floor and my rectus diastasis, which my gynecologist unfortunately didn't do! Lisa is very empathetic, takes the time to listen to you and helped me a lot! Don't put up with your complaints and rather let yourself be examined once too much than too little.

Lisa is very personable, empathetic and competent. I had a massage during pregnancy, a postpartum treatment and postnatal treatment with her and I am thrilled. The massage was very soothing and relaxing, the postpartum and postnatal treatment very informative and calming: detailed diagnostics and advice on the current state of the body and, for example, movements that are gentle on the pelvic floor and strengthening exercises for diastasis recti. Her authentic, sensitive manner and humor make it easy to talk about these sensitive topics during this special time.
I can only recommend a treatment with Lisa!
Natasha
I felt very comfortable with Lisa for the recovery, every mother should treat herself to that. We always talked about current complaints, in the beginning I had back pain and now after a few sessions with a training plan (and discipline to do more sport) I am fitter & almost pain-free. It was always a little break from everyday life and the massage at the end was a real treat in the stressful everyday life of a mom. Thanks!
I can only recommend a treatment with Lisa!
