treatment
During pregnancy
A classic pregnancy is the massage, a little break for you and your body, which is doing so much at the moment. The natural changes in the body can cause tension, which can be relieved by a shoulder and neck massage. With targeted posture corrections and advice on how to deal with your new body center of gravity, we can actively improve your posture. It is also important to stay active during pregnancy and I can help you stay fit with yoga sequences or specific exercises. Every pregnancy is different and I cater to your needs and see what your body needs.

treatment
In the puerperium
This intensive time is primarily the arrival and getting to know mother and child, because not only a child is born, but also a mother and this process is allowed to have its space. With lots of cuddling time for the new family and everyone can recover from the birth. That's why the focus here is not on challenging strengthening exercises, but on perception exercises for your pelvic floor and your abdominal muscles. I can also give you practical tips for the new everyday life with your baby, for example on breastfeeding positions, lifting and carrying, as well as making movements gentle and / or painless. The treatment will be put together individually according to your findings, whether vaginal delivery or abdominal birth, and I will cater to your wishes and needs.
Perception exercises and breathing exercises for the pelvic floor and abdominal muscles
Master movement transitions gently and painlessly
Implement everyday movements in a way that is gentle on the pelvic floor
Relieve tension through massages and manual treatments
Tips and tricks from a physiotherapeutic point of view in the puerperium
Note: I do not want to replace the work of your midwife, but to be another supporter in cooperation with your midwife in childbed.
treatment
In regression
The aim of regression is to restore a stable center. The abdominal and pelvic floor muscles should be strengthened and thus find their functionality again. During pregnancy and childbirth, these muscle groups in particular were stretched and put under great strain. However, it is important to know and perform the right exercise correctly at the right time.
Lean again quickly is not sustainable for your body, but the muscles should be reminded of their actual tasks.
In any case, the prevention of consequential damage such as sagging of the organs or later incontinence is in the foreground. A diagnosis-oriented pelvic floor and whole-body training is also useful for incontinence. Here I can advise you specifically and we can discuss the options that are available in therapy. Ultimately, however, it is also about putting together a program for you that you will actually implement and thus fit with you and your everyday life.

mother
My wish is to help women during pregnancy, childbed and post-natal care with individual physiotherapeutic treatment to feel good again in their bodies. With my work I want to create a space where your questions and worries are in the foreground, seen and taken seriously.
Due to my calm and empathetic nature, it is easy for me to create a trusting basis for cooperation and to fully engage with you and your wishes. My professional expertise as a pelvic floor therapist, mother and yoga teacher gives me access to a mix of skills, through which I can work individually with you on your body. Through this joint process, we together achieve a constant improvement in your body awareness.
At femphysio , the needs of women during pregnancy, in the puerperium and in regression are in the foreground. Every woman is unique and has different prerequisites for pregnancy. Births are always different and are processed individually on a physical and psychological level. Through my work, I would like to support women to feel secure in their body around the time of childbirth. The body is a marvel and does an enormous amount of work.
The treatments are carried out conveniently at your home or I can advise you on your questions about the pelvic floor via video conference.
“Every woman deserves individual physiotherapeutic care during pregnancy and post-natal recovery, in order to be one with her own body again and simply to feel good again, regardless of a chic lifestyle, but gently and with expertise back into stability.
The goal in regression is not to get slim again as quickly as possible, but to restore the body's functions. "
Heartily,
Lisa
