My feel-good weekly bed
The eBook

What is there to consider after the birth? The baby is here and the joy is great, but how is the mother? So you there? What can you do to make yourself feel good and comfortable during this time?

From A like breathing to Z like toes/time/ the e-book gives an overview with helpful tips and tricks for the postpartum period. You will find out what you can pay attention to in order to protect your body and your pelvic floor, which exercises you can do and which you should not do.

You will also get lots of tips for everyday things, such as how to get up and how to go to the toilet for the first time.

To keep track of things, you can print out a checklist and tick off what you have already achieved.

You can leaf through the e-book at the end of your pregnancy and then read it comfortably on your mobile phone or tablet after the birth.

Or you can give it away to your girlfriend or acquaintance if you have already had your childbirth and thus make a new mum happy.

I wish you a nice postpartum period and a comfortable time to settle in, for you as a mother and for all of you as a family.

All the best,
Lisa

Lisa Brown
Founder of femphysio - physiotherapy for women around pregnancy, childbirth and recovery

I'm Lisa Braun, physical therapist, pelvic floor therapist, yoga teacher and mother. My passion is the pelvic floor and I accompany women on their journey around pregnancy, birth and recovery. Through my experience as a pelvic floor therapist, I have looked after many women in childbirth in the practice and at home. This gave me the desire, above all, to pass on the physiotherapeutic knowledge about the time after the birth. I've often heard the phrase "someone could have told me that beforehand" and there are often very simple tricks that can help you through the confinement period.

I wish that every woman starts her childbirth well informed and that this time is magical for you and your new family.

If you have problems with the pelvic floor after the birth, I can only recommend Lisa's examination and therapy. If you inquire about complaints about the pelvic floor after childbirth, you will often find topics such as incontinence and prolapse problems. What to do if that doesn't apply to you at all and you still feel that something is wrong? Lisa thoroughly examined my pelvis/floor and my rectus diastasis, which my gynecologist unfortunately didn't do! Lisa is very empathetic, takes the time to listen to you and helped me a lot! Don't put up with your complaints and it's better to be examined once too much than too little.

Lisa is very personable, empathetic and competent. I had a massage during pregnancy, a postpartum treatment and postnatal treatment with her and I am thrilled. The massage was very soothing and relaxing, the postpartum and postnatal treatment very informative and calming: detailed diagnostics and advice on the current state of the body and, for example, movements that protect the pelvic floor and strengthening exercises for diastasis recti.  Yours authentic, sensitive manner and humor make it easy to talk about these sensitive topics in this special time.

I can only recommend a treatment with Lisa!

I felt very comfortable with Lisa for the recovery, every mother should treat herself to that. We always talked about current complaints, in the beginning I had back pain and now after a few sessions with a training plan (and discipline to do more sport) I am fitter and almost free of complaints. It was always a little break from everyday life and the massage at the end was a real treat in the stressful everyday life of a mom. Thanks!
